Sad news hit the music world again on Wednesday, when word of Rod Temperton‘s recent passing made waves online.
Temperton, who died at age 66 after “a brief aggressive with cancer” this week, was universally acclaimed for writing songs including Michael Jackson‘s classics Thriller and Rock With Me and Heatwave’s Boogie Nights, among others.
His contributions won’t soon e forgotten, as evidenced by some of the remembrances that surfaced on Twitter after news of his death:
