Attention Southern California!

On Sunday, December 4, Rock Cellar Magazine and the Get Together Foundation will team up for another all-star fundraising holiday concert benefiting the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Spark of Love and the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. This latest event comes one year after a similar holiday bash was thrown at California State Northridge’s Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall, which is again hosting this year’s event.

This year’s concert theme is Peace, Love & Understanding, and the list of participating musicians and singers sharing their talents on December 4 is a formidable one…here’s a rundown:

Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Peter Asher (Peter & Gordon, Everly Brothers, Linda Ronstadt), Carnie Wilson & Rob Bonfiglio (Wilson Phillips), Marcella Detroit (Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker), Freebo (Bonnie Raitt, CSN), Rosemary Butler (James Taylor, Jackson Browne), Jeff Alan Ross (Badfinger, Peter Asher), Marc Mann (Danny Elfman, Jeff Lynne), Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), The Honeys – Marilyn Wilson & Ginger Blake (Brian Wilson, Jan & Dean), poet Stephen Kalinich, John Wicks (The Records), Debbi Peterson (The Bangles), Carly Smithson (American Idol, We Are The Fallen), Kiki Ebsen (Christopher Cross, Boz Scaggs) and also appearing:

Adam Daniel, Al. Keith, Bill Cinque, Chad Watson, Dave Pearlman, Gary Stockdale, Kevin Wachs (Executive Producer), Jay Cohen, John McNeely, John Pratt, Lauri Reimer, Michael Stern, Scotty Mitchell, Steve Goddard.

KCSN 88.5 FM’s Jim Nelson will be the MC for the evening.

Tickets for the show are $30 in advance/$40 at the door, and there are $100 VIP packages available as well through the Get Together Foundation (www.gettogetherfoundation.com). Tickets are available in person or by phone through the CSUN box office (818-677-3000) Tue-Sat, 11am-4pm or through the Get Together Foundation at 818-727-7884 or online through Ticketmaster (at this link).

Note: Doors open at 6 PM, come early and check out the silent auction featuring Pacific Auction’s collection of music memorabilia in the lobby before the performance.
