Jack Tempchin, celebrated singer/songwriter perhaps best known for penning Eagles’ classic hit “Peaceful, Easy Feeling,” has a new album, One More Song, out now via Blue Elan Records.

Below, exclusively watch Tempchin’s new lyric video for a song called “Singing in the Streets”:

Here’s some context about Tempchin’s new album from the man himself on his official site:

I went back to my roots with very simple musical arrangements of my strongest songs, going back to my coffee house days of the 60’s. We are giving away a version of the title track, which is called “One More Song”. It starts off by saying “I was in a sleazy bar in San Diego”, which of course, I was… It was recorded several times over the years, but never by me. This is the first time I have made a record of it. My friend Jackson Browne liked the song and there is a version on the internet of him and Linda Ronstadt singing it together live with the stellar line up of David Lindley on violin, Andrew Gold on guitar, and Kenny Edwards on bass at Clark University in Worcester, MA on March 13, 1974.

Additionally, Tempchin was recently announced as the support act for three of Timothy B. Schmit’s upcoming Southern California tour dates — Tempchin will share the stage at these gigs:

  • January 7 — Coach House Concert Hall in San Juan Capistrano
  • January 24 — Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach
  • January 26 — Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach

Additionally, Tempchin has also confirmed a January residency at the Hotel Cafe on January 8, 15, 22 and 29.
