Greg Lake, English songwriter, producer and bassist known for his work in both King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, has died at the age of 69. His manager Stewart Young shared the sad news on Lake’s Facebook page:

Lake’s passing comes just nine months after Keith Emerson’s death in March of this year.
Rick Wakeman, a colleague and friend of Lake’s, shared his condolences on Twitter:
